A crown isn’t a finish.
It’s a promise.

Twelve years in — every roof we’ve laid is one a Coronado would still climb back up to fix.

How it goes.

From the first call to the walkthrough.

  1. Step 01

    The inspection.

Drone-up for tile — no weight on the roof, no cracked tiles. Hands-on for flat, shingle, and commercial. Either way, you see exactly what we found.

  2. Step 02

    You get the truth.

A written assessment of what's actually wrong, and what isn't. We don't push repairs you don't need.

  3. Step 03

    A real quote.

Itemized, no surprises. Materials we'd use, timeline, price. If we can't do the job right, we'll tell you straight.

  4. Step 04

    The work, then the walkthrough.

Polyglass, Johnson Manville, Polystick TU MAX where they fit. When it's done, we walk the roof with you and show you what we did.

Most jobs start with a free drone inspection.

We started Coronado Roofing because the existing options in Tucson were either underpriced and underbuilt, or overpriced and underdelivered. Twelve years and a thousand roofs later, our method is still simple: drone the inspection so we don’t crack what doesn’t need cracking, build with materials that hold up under the desert sun, and don’t take the job if we can’t do it right.

We’ll answer it straight.

01

Why use a drone to inspect a tile roof?

Walking on a clay or concrete tile roof can crack the tiles you're trying to assess. Even an experienced installer adds wear with every step. We use drones to inspect from every angle — eaves, ridges, valleys, flashing — without putting weight on the roof itself. You get a thorough assessment, your roof stays intact, and we can show you exactly what we found on the inspection footage.

02

When should I get my roof inspected before monsoon season?

The best time is late spring — April through early June. Inspecting before the first storms means we can catch and repair weak spots, missing tiles, sealant cracks, or flashing issues while the weather's still calm. Waiting until July, when storms are already rolling through, often turns a small repair into a leak emergency. A pre-monsoon inspection takes about an hour and gives you a clear picture of where your roof stands.

03

How long does a tile roof last in Tucson?

A properly installed tile roof in Tucson can last 50+ years for the tiles themselves, though the underlayment beneath typically needs replacement every 20–25 years. The harsh desert sun, monsoon rain cycles, and dramatic temperature swings all wear the underlayment faster than the visible tiles. We've inspected hundreds of Tucson tile roofs where the tiles are still perfect but the underlayment has failed — that's when a re-roof becomes necessary, even though the tiles look fine.

04

Do you handle storm damage and roof repairs?

Yes — particularly during and after monsoon season. We come out, do a drone inspection to identify all damage (visible and hidden), and give you a clear written assessment. If you're working with insurance, we provide documentation that supports the claim, but we don't push or oversell repairs you don't actually need. Our goal is to fix what's broken and leave the rest of your roof alone.

05

What areas around Tucson do you serve?

Most of Pima County and parts of Cochise County — Tucson, Marana, Sahuarita, Sierra Vista, and the towns in between. If your area isn't on the list, give us a call. We may still cover it, especially for larger jobs.
